Mr. Benharris represents clients in single-plaintiff, collective and class action lawsuits for failure to pay proper wages, overtime and commissions. He also assists in the representation of individuals in a wide variety of labor and employment related litigation, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, failure to accommodate disabilities, family and medical leave violations, and breach of contract.
Mr. Benharris received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from The Pennsylvania State University. He earned his Juris Doctor at Brooklyn Law School in Brooklyn, New York. There, he represented workers seeking unemployment benefits as part of the school’s employment clinic. While earning his degree, Mr. Benharris also interned with a busy New York law firm assisting employees in recovering appropriate wages and overtime.
Mr. Benharris is licensed to practice law in the State of New York and he is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
